After the success of the first exhibition, the “Centrale Electrique” presents the 8th Biennal African Photography Forum from Bamako, the capital of Mali. On the programme is a selection of photographs and videos on the theme of borders, be they geographic, political, social or religious.

The artists cast a committed glance at migratory flows, relations with others, the disappearance of borders as a consequence of globalisation or, in contrast, the construction of walls to protect them. These are strong images which, seeking answers, are highly emotive.

Previously unseen in Belgium, this exhibition will be on view from March at “La Centrale électrique” in Brussels and also at the “FotoMuseum” in Antwerp.
