When for the first time Design invites itself to La Centrale électrique, there’s nothing trivial about it!

20 designers have agreed to play the game to unveil the mysterious ways and the pitfalls that lead from the creative idea to the finished object; that design object that has to be produced industrially for the comfort of all. This language oscillates between art and technology and is a constant, sometimes tense, dialogue between the designer and the constraints of it’s industrial production. This fascinating story is a permanent “battle” we are honoured to invite you to discover.
